HRZ WHEATS GEARS UP HRZ Wheats has appointed
one of Australia’s leading agribusiness managers, Neil Comben, to the role of general manager as the
company gets set for the first commercial release of its new wheat variety, Forrest. HRZ Wheats has also appointed Allan
Rattey as principal wheat breeder. With a background in sugar cane and wheat plant breeding and a PhD in quantitative
genetics, he will drive breeding that targets improved yields, milling grade and disease resistance. Northern NSW farmer Richard
Clark has been appointed to the board of HRZ Wheats. [APRIL 2012]

NATIONAL SALES MANAGER Leading crop
protection supplier Crop Care Australasia has appointed Owen Williams as national sales manager. The appointment
was announced last month by Crop Care general manager Brendan Deck. Mr Williams brings a wealth of experience
in sales management, built on his work in virtually every state of Australia and industries ranging from viticulture and horticulture
to broadacre cropping, livestock and tropical crops over the past 18 years. [APRIL 2012]

NUFARM SALES MANAGERS Nufarm’s
southern NSW and South Australia sales teams have been strengthened with the appointment of two new sales managers. Lucas
Bagshaw has joined Nufarm after 12 years with Landmark, where until recently he was the branch manager at Kapunda.
Also, Eleanor Nolan has joined Nufarm’s southern NSW team to take on the role as sales manager for
the Wagga Wagga area. She has transferred from Nufarm’s coastal sales team, where she supported Nufarm distributors
in the metro area around Brisbane. [APRIL 2012]

RENTOKIL ACCOUNT MANAGER
Rentokil Products has appointed Olga Scuderi as its new regional representative for Queensland. Ms Scuderi
has been with Rentokil Products for two and a half years and has acquired an extensive knowledge of its pest control range.
She joined the company as a customer service officer, moved on to the sales and accounts executive role for Western Australia,
and is now adding Queensland to her areas of responsibility. [APRIL 2012]

RABOBANK RURAL MANAGER Rabobank
has appointed Todd Charteris as state manager for its rural business in Victoria. An internationally experienced
agribusiness banker with a lifelong association with agriculture, Mr Charteris was formerly Rabobank’s regional manager
for East Coast New Zealand. Rabobank Australia and New Zealand has also appointed Luke Chandler as general
manager of its Food and Agribusiness Research and Advisory division. Mr Chandler has returned to Australia after a three-year
posting in Rabobank’s London office. [APRIL 2012]

HAIFA SALES AGRONOMIST Specialty
fertiliser supplier Haifa Australia has moved to boost its service and support to growers and distributors in Queensland with
the appointment of a state sales agronomist. Experienced crop production manager Peter Anderson, who also
has been strongly involved with irrigation and fertigation technologies during his career, has joined the company and is based
in Bundaberg. [APRIL 2012]

VICTORIA ACCOUNT MANAGER Leading
canola variety developer Canola Breeders has welcomed a new territory manager for Victoria. Ben O’Connor
took up the sales role in January, bringing fresh enthusiasm and four years’ experience in agriculture to the business.

REDHANDED DIGITAL SPECIALISTS Following
an extensive independent audit of current digital services offered to agribusiness, including a review of client expectations
and specialised agency capabilities, Redhanded Communications Group has appointed two experienced digital professionals to
power their specialised digital unit. David Rigbye has been appointed head of digital whilst Daniel
Bouras will join Redhanded as its technology lead. Account director and digital specialist Libby Nixon
will take up the interim role of digital integration director to ensure the new team is brought quickly up to speed with the
specialised nature of the category and the related online media consumption habits of farmers and their key influencers. [APRIL

MARK ALLISON CEO OF GGA Mark
Allison will take on the role of CEO of the Grain Growers Association (GGA) group of companies after he stepped into
a caretaker role with GGA following the departure of the previous CEO. [November 2010]
CROPLIFE GAINS NEW MEMBER Landmark Proprietary
Products Group (PPG), which covers the Genfarm and Loveland crop protection brands, is now a corporate member of
CropLife Australia. Landmark PPG joins the other leading companies of Australia’s agricultural chemical and biotechnology
industry as a member of the peak industry organisation of the plant science sector. [MARCH

R&D ROLE AgroBest Australia has appointed a new research and development specialist, Saxon
Rohrlach. He has a rather extensive background in the agricultural industry. having grown up on his father's
farm in the South Australian peninsula. [MARCH 2012] JVA APPOINTS NATIONAL SALES MANAGER Michael
Wallis is the newly appointed national sales manager at JVA Technologies. Prior to joining JVA he worked in senior
positions at several companies, including the Queensland Government, Berri and Coca Cola Amatil. He has been a security
officer for 20 years and has vast industry experience. [MARCH 2012] SILVAN ACCOUNT MANAGERS Silvan Australia has appointed
two new account managers to serve the expanding agricultural, horticultural and hardware industries of Far North Queensland.
Both are based in Townsville. Nathan Ainley has a diverse range of experience, having worked previously in
turf management and design, machinery sales and real estate. Frank Torrisi has a strong horticultural background
and has worked with Famers Agencies and Landmark. [MARCH 2012] NUFARM
R&D AND SALES JOBS Mitch Allen has joined Nufarm Australia’s field research and development
team, based in Wagga Wagga. Nufarm Australia also welcomes Gerard Doherty, who has been appointed sales
manager for the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region, based in Dalby. Mr Doherty takes over the role from Daniel Gestier,
who has moved into the position of regional manager for southern New South Wales. [MARCH 2012] FARMOZ
PRODUCT MANAGER Crop protection company Farmoz has expanded its marketing team with the appointment
of Tahshi Payne as product manager. Ms Payne brings 12 years of marketing experience to the role including
five years at Foxtel as national retail marketing manager. [MARCH 2012] AGSAFE ADDS TO ITS TEAM There has been
a new addition to the Agsafe team, with new North Queensland accreditation facilitator Craig Stewart joining
the cause. Mr Stewart has been brought on board to work with current Queensland facilitator Allan Porter
to maintain the momentum of the Accreditation & Training program up north. [MARCH 2012] JUROX AIMS FOR DAIRY GROWTH Jurox has appointed
Andrew Millar as business development manager dairy ANZ, a new position created in response to ongoing
growth in the Jurox dairy portfolio including the OTC product range and the S4 (vet only) remedies. [MARCH
2012] RIVALEA TERRITORY
MANAGER Stock feed specialist Rivalea has a new territory manager in north-east Victoria. Mark
Lister will draw on his dairy background to provide dairy farmers across the region with tailored feed solutions
in what looks to be a favourable season ahead. [MARCH 2012] ELDERS REGIONAL MANAGER Elders has boosted its northern
Australian team with the appointment of one of the region’s most experienced agricultural operators, Geoff
Wagstaff. Prior to joining Elders, Mr Wagstaff spent 35 years working in the Northern Territory, Kimberley region
and Queensland, most recently managing his own rural consultancy business. [MARCH 2012]
